MidwestHR’s 180 Initiative team hosted an all-day volunteer event for our staff to bake cookies for the soldiers. We sent packages of treats to active-duty members whom are relatives or friends with MidwestHR employees in hopes to brighten their day and show our appreciation for their service. Our team baked about 150 cookies throughout the day for 5 soldiers and their units stationed all over the world!
This 180 Initiative event was not only a great way to support our troops, but also was a fun experience for our staff to bake in the kitchen together. This allowed all of our employees to sign-up and get involved with the event, instead of sending a team off-site. We hope to do more events like this in the future!
