Throughout the holiday season, MidwestHR’s 180 Initiative coordinated another successful Giving Tree donation event for Almost Home Kids. Our staff, friends, family, and few clients were able to collect over one hundred toys and supplies for the facility during the month of December! While our Giving Tree was in a new location because of our move to the new office space, we still were able to donate a significant number of gifts to the organization.
Almost Home Kids is a local organization in Naperville, IL that services children who have been released from the hospital, but are waiting for their home to be safely equipped for their medical needs. During their time at the facility, patients work on developing and improving their mobility and function while they receive care from therapists on site.
Our staff at MidwestHR truly enjoyed helping out Almost Home Kids for the holidays again this year. The wonderful staff at the facility as well as its tremendous impact on the lives of the patients inspire us to continue our work and partnership with them. Thank you again to all who contributed to the donation event and catch us helping Almost Home Kids with their spring cleaning projects in a few short months!
