2019 MidwestHR Scholarship Winner: Elise Fiskum
Every year, the MidwestHR 180 Initiative program offers a scholarship for qualified high school students of our clients’ employees. The recipient must demonstrate strong characteristics of leadership, academic achievement, and involvement in the community through volunteer and extra-curricular activities. Of the candidate pool, one deserving applicant is chosen to receive a monetary award to help fund their college education.
This year, the MidwestHR 2019 College Scholarship Award was presented to Elise Fiskum. From her leadership roles such as the Community Leader of the Tri-M Music Honors Society to her community service with Helping Hands, Feed my Starving Children, and Farm Wise, Elise has exemplified what a true leader is in many aspects of her high school career. Furthermore, she accomplished this and so much more while still excelling in her academics. Ms. Fiskum will be attending California Polytechnic State University and majoring in Biological Science. MidwestHR is proud to announce Elise Fiskum as the 2019 College Scholarship Award winner and is excited to see her successes in the future.
Congratulations Elise!
