2021 marks the return of the MidwestHR Giving Tree that benefits the local nonprofit organization, Almost Home Kids in Woodridge, IL.
Due to COVID, the efforts of the MidwestHR team in donating supplies to Almost Home Kids were limited to necessities like diapers, paper supplies and gift cards that could be used to purchase supplies and holiday needs to support the children and their families as they transition from hospital care to home. With an envelope stuffed with gift cards and a trunk load of supplies, Jeff, Meghan, and Dave delivered our donation to the Almost Home Kids staff. Though our interaction with staff was limited, they continue to be grateful for our yearly visit and donation.
We are excited to continue working with Almost Home Kids to help support them and their staff throughout the year as they help the beautiful community we call home.
