What is MidwestHR doing in response to COVID-19?
- MidwestHR is aware of, and closely monitoring, the evolving Coronavirus situation through local authorities, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Illinois Department of Public Health in order to maintain a safe work environment in our facilities and to sustain our business operations.
- We have activated our Emergency Preparedness Plan, which includes:
- Enabling work from home capabilities
- Activated our Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Protection Plan
- Enabled two-level authentication on all systems accessed
- Deploying the following plans and promotions to coordinate delivery of services and support to our clients:
- Promote direct deposit or pay card payment of all payroll
- Cease printing of non-live paycheck stubs and reports to eliminate delivery of non-essential items
- Promote the use of both the Manager Portal and Employee Portal for viewing payroll information (paychecks and reports)
- Providing our team members, clients and worksite employees with information and best practices to prevent the spread of any illness
- Limiting all non-essential business travel
- Enabling work from home capabilities
What is included in the Emergency Preparedness Plan?
- MidwestHR has a comprehensive Emergency Preparedness Plan that has been tested to withstand various types of threat scenarios, including pandemic planning. Our ability to be prepared for health and safety issues is based upon:
- Established infectious disease guidelines and protocols
- A conversant communication strategy
- Team member awareness and education
- Provisioning and distribution of supplies
- Human Resources policies specific to pandemic/health crisis planning
